What's new in Mazbut
Mazbut 1.0
29 October 2026The first full version of Mazbut: one system for a restaurant, café or shop in Egypt, from the supplier to the customer. The routine steps run by themselves, and you approve what matters. This is what it does today.
The till and the kitchen
- The till runs in the browser of the tablet, phone or computer you already have.
- When the internet drops, the till keeps taking orders and payments, and sends them when it is back, without losing or counting any twice.
- A kitchen screen readable from the grill. A late order shows its minutes in red.
- No kitchen screen? Every order prints a ticket for the kitchen.
- Receipts and kitchen tickets print by themselves and the cash drawer opens for cash, from Chrome or Edge on an Android tablet or a computer.
Your ordering page and your customers
- Your own ordering link, with your name, logo and colours, for delivery and pickup.
- Customers follow their order until it reaches them.
- Customer accounts with points, tiers for regulars and promo codes.
- Offers by email only to the customers who asked for them.
- Ratings from real orders, and a feedback code on every receipt.
- As an add-on, your ordering page becomes your own app on your customers' phones.
Tables and waiters
- QR cards for the tables, in your colours.
- Waiters seat a party and order for the table from their phone.
- Guests who ordered by QR ask for the bill from their phone.
- How long tables stay, and what a seat-hour brings in.
Delivery
- Delivery areas, each with its fee, minimum order and time, with starter lists for every governorate.
- A page for each driver, and for delivery companies.
- Count the cash when the driver returns and settle in one tap.
Stock and suppliers
- Recipes take ingredients out of stock with every sale.
- What runs low becomes an order for you to approve.
- Purchase orders, market buys with the supplier's invoice, goods sent back, and stock moved between branches.
- Stock counts that hide the expected figures, so the count is honest.
- Cartons, packs and more than one barcode per product.
- What you owe each supplier, by their terms. Mazbut records it; it does not move money.
Shops and supermarkets
- Checkout by barcode, with a scanner or the tablet's camera.
- Goods by the kilo, from the scale's label or the weight typed in.
- Shelf price labels for what changed.
- Customers scan their shopping with their phone and pay at the till.
- Selling on account (آجل) up to a limit you set.
Guests from abroad
- Cash in dollars, euros, roubles or any currency you add, at your rate of the day. Change in pounds.
- Your ordering page in your guests' languages.
Reports and your accountant
- Yesterday's numbers in your inbox every morning.
- Sales, best and slowest items, busy hours, staff and branches, for any period, with month and year to date.
- Menu engineering: which dishes earn, and which to rethink.
- Each month, an Excel file for your accountant.
Staff and branches
- Ready-made roles, a storekeeper who never sees sales or cash, or your own roles.
- Branches, each with its own tables, stock, reports and prices.
- Shifts with opening cash and the count at close; hours imported from your attendance machine.
- A first-time tour for each role and a setup checklist for the owner.
- A "?" on every screen, in Arabic and English.
Menu, language and setup
- Your menu in Excel, both ways, with photos.
- Every screen in plain Egyptian Arabic or English. Each device picks its own.
- Each screen installs like an app, with its own icon.
- Light and dark, and your colours taken from your logo.
- For suppliers: orders on their phone, price offers, their product list in Excel and a daily loading list.
What 1.0 does not do
- It does not issue ETA e-receipts.
- It does not do accounting or payroll. Your accountant gets the Excel file.
- The till records card payments; your card machine stays separate.
- On an iPhone, an iPad or Firefox, receipts print through the print dialog.
- People still cook, pick, deliver and count the cash.
How 1.0 was built
